The arena side of the ranch.

Hawaii's Super Horse is the show-production and working-stock half of the Griffith family operation on Oʻahu. Same crew. Same pasture. Different kind of dust.

The horses keep the cattle honest.

Every Oahu Meats steak starts on the same land where Hawaii's Super Horse trains. The herd does double duty: arena work in the morning, pasture life the rest of the week. Honest stock makes honest beef.

We work Western and Hawaiian disciplines — cutting, sorting, calf roping, barrel racing, polebending. The crew that raises the cattle is the same crew that rides them. Nobody flown in. Nothing outsourced.

Stock for sale. Show production. Next-generation paniolo training. If any of that is what you're looking for, we'd love to talk.

What We Do

Three things, all working together.

Show Production

Events the island shows up for.

We produce horse shows on Oʻahu from the ground up — arena setup, stock handling, day-of operations. The kind of work that takes a full ranch crew, a working herd, and people who actually live this.

Working Stock

Cattle bred to work, finish, or both.

Our herd is selected for arena performance and pasture finish. That means stock that cuts honest, sorts clean, and still grades out for the freezer. Inquiries welcome from producers, trainers, and event organizers.

Paniolo Tradition

The next generation of riders.

Hawaiʻi's paniolo predate the American cowboy by decades. We try to honor that legacy in who we hire, how we work, and what we hand to our kids. Junior riders welcome at every event.

Paniolo · 1832 — Today

Hawaiian cowboys came before the cowboys of the American West.

The cattle, the arena work, the shows, the beef on your plate. It all comes from the same pasture.
— The Griffith ʻOhana
Four Generations

Built for the next generation of riders.

The work the ranch does in the arena isn't just for show. Every stock-handling lesson, every clean run, every kid who learns to throw a rope on a Griffith horse is part of a tradition older than most of the cowboys on the mainland.

The keiki coming up in our barn ride the same stock their parents trained, on the same Hawaiian land their great-grandparents worked. That continuity is what Hawaii's Super Horse is built around.
